Yes, this idea is out of season for the Fall, but in some states , specifically Florida it is still 85 degrees.I thought this was the CUTEST cake idea I have ever seen, the FLIP FLOP CAKE.
It uses pound cake, ice cream and stencils to shape into this very creative treat.
- 1 10-3/4-ounce frozen pound cake, thawed
- 3/4 to 1 cup desired-flavor ice cream
- 1/2 of an 8-ounce carton frozen whipped dessert topping, thawed
- Pull-apart licorice twists
- Bright-color candy wafers and/or round candies
- Graham cracker crumbs (optional)
